As one of the UK’s most respected guitarists, Gordon has consistently proved the adage that respect cannot be bought. It must be earned. For decades, Gordon has enthralled audiences and worked with other music industry legends including Brian May, Rick Wakeman, Midge Ure, jazz virtuoso Martin Taylor and the London Symphony Orchestra. Gordon played guitar alongside Cliff Richard, on stage in Cliff’s West End musical Heathcliff. In 2019, Gordon was honoured with an MBE for his services to music & charity. He has released 25 studio albums and has his own JHS signature guitar and his popular instrumental ‘Heartsong‘ used by BBC and known by millions of viewers. Gordon played at the TLH venue for the festival organiser Kevin’s ‘Fingers & Fret’s Club’ way back in 1996, so its only fitting that Gordon is the festivals first Sunday Legends Slot performer…..youre in for a treat!!


Rodney Branigan (Double Guitar Master from the USA)

Americana Folk Roots with virtuoso presentation, with a touch of clean comedy thrown in for good measure. Rodney’s style is trademarked as ‘Full Contact Folk Music’. The Texas-born troubadour who learned to play in Austin, perform in Los Angeles, craft songs in Nashville, and put it all together in London has played all types of music in all types of venues in his storied career. His adventurous, boundary breaking guitar playing (sometimes at the same time) earning him the title “The Two Guitar Man” has led to performance across America, India, Africa and Europe. Rodney wowed audiences at our last festival with his amazing guitar playing, vocals, humour and guitar tricks so don’t miss him!


Chris Woods (The Groove Orchestra from the UK)

When Google book an artist for their event, someone described as ‘changing the perceived boundaries of the acoustic guitar’, you know you aren’t talking about your average musician. A Guitar explorer and innovative collaborator, Chris, uses every inch of the guitar to create an inspirational sound in a diverse mix of lineups which he will bring to our festival. Chris is an endorsee of Elixir Strings and we are delighted he’s back with us for our next festival to enthrall you.


Sean de Burca (The Fretboard Dancer from Ireland)

Sean is a percussive acoustic guitarist and graphic designer, illustrator based in Ireland. After playing fingerstyle guitar for just 7 years, Sean was named as one of the top 30 acoustic guitarists under the age of 30 worldwide by Acoustic Guitar Magazine (USA), as well as being featured as Acoustic Magazine’s (UK) ‘Next Big Thing’. Sean has designed album covers for world renowned fingerstyle guitarists (inc numerous Candyrat artistes) and his own Candyrat releases. Sean has performed in Canada, America and across the UK, inc performances supporting Antoine Dufour and Ken Bonfield’s Artistry of the Guitar. Sean’s technical playing has earned him performances at UK Tech-Metal Festival for 3 consecutive years sharing the bill with Jon Gomm.

Becky Langan is a fingerstyle guitarist who employs a combination of extended techniques that explore the outermost reaches of the acoustic guitar. Becky was a semi-finalist on Guitar Star (series 2) aired on Sky Arts. Becky has recorded at Abbey Road Studios with producer Tony Visconti and received mentor sessions from many iconic musicians, including; Tony Iommi, George Benson, Wilko Johnson, Jon Gomm and Preston Reed. Becky has grown an appreciative audience all over the world generating over 7k Facebook followers and three million views on one video alone. 


Kevin Harding (The Balladeer from the UK)

Kevin is a composer and fingerstyle guitarist from Devon in the UK who has performed to sell-out shows such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and renowned Yardbird Club. Last year, Candyrat released one of Kevin’s videos ‘Spindrift’ which has received great reviews. Kevin is the founder of The Academy of Music & Sound (online music degree) and was a regular columnist for Acoustic Magazine featuring his guitar compositions and arrangements for fingerstyle guitar. Kevin is signed to Universal Music for his guitar and orchestral library music compositions which can be heard across the world in various TV dramas and documentaries. As a co-organiser of the Fingerstyle Festival, Kevin dedicates his non composing & recording time to organising what he hopes will be another great festival and will perform at the festival opening.

Adam Malitech (2022 Festival Live Competition winner from USA)

Adam is a singer-songwriter specializing in fingerstyle guitar from Central Illinois (USA). Adam won the 1st prize at the Fingerstyle Collective Festival live competition last year and is now and now has his video releases on Candyrat Records. Adam has just been nominated for Best Guitarist and Best Songwriter in a prestigous US music awards program and will undoubtedly enthrall audiences at this years festival as an artiste in his own right.
